Belleville is a neighbourhood in the East of Paris. There lives an important minority from Chinese origins since 1980. Looking at these discarded picture is exploring a world broken by migrations and destinies kept apart in space and time.
I found these pictures on a rainy evening, in a backstreet of Belleville.
They tell little pieces of a bigger stories, and ask questions that beg to be answered about the owner of these picturs. Who is he, and where is he from? Why were these pictures discared in the street?
